BioDimensions is a Memphis-based agribusiness development and consulting firm building opportunities for biobased products and industrial biotechnology in the U.S. and around the world.  The Company works with a broad range of stakeholders in the biobased industry: farmers, seed companies, processors and manufacturers, as well as university researchers, non-profits and economic development agencies.

Today the combination of new crops, traditional farmer ingenuity and innovative technologies has created opportunities to develop high-value biobased products from plants. The world's leading agriculture, biotechnology, chemical and petroleum companies are currently forming new partnerships to capitalize on the growth of this biobased industry.  Emerging supply chains for this industry - from farm to factory to market - offer the chance for rural and urban communities to build a more prosperous future.

BioDimensions can help clients to identify, evaluate and capitalize on opportunities in the biobased industry by providing the following services:

In 2009 BioDimensions captured its findings on sustainable agriculture and agribusiness opportunities in the Mid-South region in the 'Regional Strategy for Biobased Products in the Mississippi Delta' (co-authored with Battelle Technology Partnership Practice). The study included a 5-state, 98-county assessment of biomass availability, logistics, and renewable energy technologies, as well as recommended strategies to integrate biomass energy into the current electricity generation capabilities in the Mid-South region.  The Mid-South region covers a broad historic floodplain of the Mississippi River and includes parts of MIssissippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky and MIssouri. BioDimensions is focused on implementing commercial projects identified in this study. BioDimensions is also serving clients across U.S., Canada and around the world.
